President Biya signs 3 decrees appointing “Tough & Wise” SDOs and D.Os of Lebialem, Ndian, Kumba III and other divisions where the Ambazonia “Kidnappers” are operating.
President Biya has made a move to curb the abduction threats posed by the secessionist in the rural areas by appointing tough and wise SDOs and DO to serve in the divisions where the Ambazonia kidnappers are operating.
On Friday the 6th of April, 2018, the president of the republic of Cameroon; H.E. President Biya signed 3 decrees appointing new SDOs and D.Os of Lebialem, Ndian, Kumba III, Alou and Fontem.
These are the names of the newly appointed S.D.Os
- Etta Mbokaya Ashu was appointed as the new senior divisional officer of Lebialem division.
- Nwafua Lawrence Forwang was also made the new senior divisional officer of Ndian division by the same decree.

- Hambi Isaac Ekpanekata was appointed as the divisional officer of Alou.
- Ewana Jude Mbong was named the divisional officer of Fontem.
- Mbua Nee Epolewane Verklin was made the divisional officer of Kumba III.
It should be noted that these are the first changes of administrative officials in the south west region since the onset of the Anglophone crisis. The changes only affect regions where the activities of the Ambazonia kidnappers are intermittent.
