Cameroon Indomitable Lions forward, Clinton Njie will be donating the sum of 13.5 Million Franc CFA to 11 school institutions in some localities of the South West region of Cameroon.
According to an official release by the Communication Manager of the Dynamo of Moscow striker- Katche Rene Echu, the Clinton Njie Care Foundation will carry out the humanitarian gesture during a tour named the Clinton Njie Care Foundation Tour to take place on September 6th and 7th this year.
The tour in its first edition will target schools like Government High School Buea, GS Ndongo-Molyko and CBC Primary School Bwiyuku-Tole.
The donations will include over dozens of computers, over a hundred benches and 6000 exercise books, pens and anti-Covid-19 hand washing buckets and dust-bins.
The Clinton Njie Care Foundation goodwill gesture also include the refurbishing of some school facilities in Buea which is currently going on with renovation and painting works.
In a statement to justify the highly applauded move, the former Olympique de Marseille and Tottenham Hotspur man said;
“Every child is full of God’s given potential. Sometimes what they need from us is that little push to enable them keep dreaming for the brighter future. Seeing joy on the faces of others brings me great happiness.”
The gesture by the 28-year-old can be emulated by other stars to contribute to the betterment of Cameroon.
