The war against the Ambazonia guerrilla fighters AKA the Amba tigers now seem tougher than the war against Bokoharam. After the arrest and extradition of Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and his cabinet members from Nigeria, the Amba Fighters have become very violent.
According information gathered by All Africa, the Cameroonian military is finding it difficult to fight the separatists.
According to witnesses, fighting has raged on for several days on the border between Nigeria and Cameroon. As the 2018 elections draws closer, the Cameroon government is under pressure to defeat or sub-due the Amba fighters to ensure that the 2018 elections are successful.
Due to above reasons, President Paul Biya has allegedly asked Chad for military support to subdue or defeat the Amba fighters.
Its should be noted that it was the Chadian soldiers, dispatched by Chadian President Idriss Deby that assisted the Cameroon forces in defeating the Bokoharam fighters in the North Region of Cameroon.
If President Biya,s request is granted, the Chadian soldiers will be fighting alongside Cameroonian’s armed forces against the English-speaking separatists in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
The Chadian soldiers are known to be war lords and very fierce.
