“Soldiers” disguise as Amba boys, attack Mitayen credit union in Bamenda (WATCH VIDEO)
There’s an unfounded news circulating on the social media alleging that a group of Cameroon security forces disguised as Amba fighters, attacked Mitayen credit union in Bamenda.
According to the source (Mimi Mefo Info), Mitayen Cooperative Credit Union situated in the heart of the city of Bamenda, North West region was robbed on Friday 21st August 2020 in broad daylight by “Soldiers” disguise as Amba fighters.
Mimi Mefo Takambou based her report on a CCTV camera footage which has gone viral on the social media; in which the group of robbers, could be heard (in the video) speaking French and ‘broken’ pidgin English and French.

The CCTV footage captured reveals one of the robbers say “Ouvre la Porte, ouvre ça” translated as “Open the door, open it”.
“Movam all money, all , I say all, no keep someone…move the other one…all…bringam here,” they shouted.
“Ou est le Directeur”?
“Where is the Director”?, another one asked.
According to Mimi Mefo, because the robbers spoke French and ‘broken’ pidgin English and French, they were therefore Cameroon security forces disguised as Amba fighters.
The $25000 question which every wise Cameroonian has been asking is, IS FRENCH A PROPRIETARY LANGUAGE spoken solely by the Cameroon security forces??? HAS THE AMBA BOYS MONOPOLIZED PIDGIN???
This recent fake news propagated by Mimi Mefo, is a glaring evidence that her ulterior motive is tarnish the reputation of the Cameroon security forces and distabilize Cameroon.
