Commander Charger Retracts confession on Murdering Comfort Timasam & Threatens to kill Reporter in a similar manner
A few days ago, we reported that an Ambazonia commander in Muyuka who goes by the Pseudonym; Commander Charger, had claim sole responsibility for the gruesome murder of Comfort Timasam Aferi (shown in the tear-jerking viral video).
During a phone interview with Theodore Ngumba of Cryout Media, Commander charger confessed that he is solely responsible for the death of the 35yrs old lady and mother of 2, without showing any remorse for his action.
He said (in pidgin)….
“Na me i kill yi, no be na my boys dem dowam and i kill yi because na black leg. E be go di sleep for army baracks, di fuck with armies them. Even that day way i kill yi, e be sleep na for barrack, came for house na for morning time. So all the things them, i already knowam. We can authoritative confirm that, indeed! commander charger is the right suspect who committed the heinous crime in Muyuka because his voice was very similar to the one heard in the video in which the lady was being interrogated. In the video he could be heard saying that “I FIT CUT YOUR HEAD”.
In the tear-jerking video; which shows how the girl was being gruesomely murdered, his voice was also heard in the background.
However just less than 48 hours after Commander Charger made above confession, an audio message surfaced on the social media in which commander Charge could be heard saying he is not responsible for the death of Comfort Timasam after claiming responsibility for the gruesome act.
In the recent audio message, Commander charger alleged that Mr Theodore of Cryout Media promised to offer him 10 millions frs CFA, if he accepts to make the above confession; which he accepted with the hope that the money could be used to buy more war materials but it didn’t go as planned hence he had to retract his confession.
However the Amba commander went off script by threatening to cut the neck of Mr Theodore Ngumba thereby implicating himself again in the murder.
He said in pidgin…
“If i see that Theodore Ngumba, i go cut cut e neck”
This was the same threat he made to late Confort Timasam before she was brutally killed at Makanga quarters and his voice was very similar to the one heard in the viral videos.
Reacting to the recent contradictory audio message, Mr Theodore Ngumba said the Amba commander must have been manipulated by a certain IG official called Fombad who is based in Germany and a host of other IG officials, who wants to clean the image of the Ambazonia struggle.
It is noteworthy that, Commander charger also mentioned (during the aforementioned phone interview) that he is fighting under the IG and is in constant communication with IG official especially those in charge of Muyuka LGA.
Judging from the above fact, its very logical that some IG officials must have reached out to the crude commander to persuade him to retract his confession.
