A Cameroonian Facebook book user who goes by the name;‎Ndonyi Vera‎ has recently launched a man hunt for a girl whom she identified as Sohnia Dillah and promised to offer a whooping sum of money as reward to anyone who will help her to find the girl.

In a post (which has recently gone viral on Facebook) ‎Ndonyi Vera‎ revealed that Sohnia Dillah (whom she labelled a big scammer using the phone number; 680109847) allegedly defrauded her father a whooping 700,000 frs CFA with the help of her gang of fraudsters in Douala.

However Ndonyi Vera didn’t reveal the relationship between her father and the alleged scammer or how she was defrauded by Sohnia Dillah.

The purported daughter of the victim; Ndonyi Vera has promised to offer the sum of 200,000 frs CFA as reward to anybody who will help her to find the aforementioned scammer girl who swindled her father of 700,000frs CFA.

In the viral Facebook post she wrote…

“Please any body that will bring this criminal I will give him or her the sum of 200.000frs she is the group leader.”

However many Facebook users have cast doubt on the story as the purported daughter of the victim who launched the manhunt; Ndonyi Vera, is currently using a fake Facebook profile with a funny DP which shows a white girl with 3 boobs. This has put a question mark on the credibility of her story as Fake Facebook profiles are often used to spread propaganda and defamatory posts.

Other Facebook users are of the opinion that the accused girl could also be a victim as most online scammers are best known for using the photos of cute ladies to defraud people in their catfishing schemes.

Based on our findings, the alleged scammer currently has two accounts on Facebook with names; Sohnia Dillah and Sonia Dillah.

The alleged scammer is 24 yrs old (born on January 1st 1996) and is a student of the university of Bamenda but based in Douala as stated on her Facebook profiles.

Even though the alleged scammer; Sohnia Dillah (Sonia Dilla) currently has more than 4000 Friends on both Facebook accounts, She isn’t active on any of the Facebook accounts and has uploaded just a single pic on both accounts. She doesn’t interact with her Facebook friends and hardly posts information on her Facebook wall; a characteristic which is typical of fake catfish Facebook profile used by internet scammers to trick and scam people.

Nevertheless, a handful of social media users suspects that Ndonyi Vera age 30 and Sohnia Dilla age 24 could be members of the same fraudster gang in Douala adding that Sohnia Dilla must have double crossed Ndonyi Vera and other gang members by escaping with the proceeds from the scam…prompting Ndonyi Vera to launch a manhunt in an attempt to get her share of the pie.

Whatever be the case, our ears are still on the ground.
