Atleast “130” Cameroon peace keeping forces have been neutralised in Bamessing village by the Amba boys
On Sunday the 18th of November, 2018, there was jubilation in Bamessing and other villages which make up Ndop Sub division and Ngohketunjia Division in the North West region of Cameroon.
On the 18th of November, the Ambazonia fighters in Ndop Sub division recorded their first massive victory in the fight against the Cameroon peace keeping forces. Atleast 130 Cameroon peace keeping forces were neutralized by the Ambazonia fighters in Bamessing village in a gun battle which lasted for about 8 hours.
A resident of Bamessing village (an elderly woman), told Mwalimu Solo, that the bodies of the Cameroon military forces have been piled up like logs of wood.
This was how the shocking event unfolded….
On Sunday, the 18th of November, 2018, at about 10 AM, 6 military trucks with about 150 troops on board invaded Bamessing village.
Upon arrival, they were welcomed by bullets from the Amba boys in Bamessing (who are always on their guard). This ignited a gun battle in Bamessing village; which lasted for about 8 hours.
To cut a long story short, at the end of the gun battle, at least 130 Cameroon security forces were neutralized by the Amba boys. The number of casualties on the side of the Amba boys is still yet to be disclosed.
An eyewitness told Solowayne news that the Amba boys in Bamessing received support/back up from Amba boys in other villages which make up Ndop sub division and other villages in Ngohketunjia Division hence the reason why the attack was successful.
An elderly woman based in Bamessing also told Mwalimu Solo that the bodies of the Cameroon military personnel have been piled up like logs of wood.
It should be noted that Mwalimu Solo received this sad news on Sunday the 18th of November. However i wanted to be 110 percent convinced before putting pen to paper.
May the gentle souls of all the Cameroon peace keeping forces who died in Bamessing on the 18th of November, 2018 rest in peace.
As a reminder, Bamessing village is one of the four villages that make up Ndop central Central Sub Division and one of the thirteen villages of Ngoketunjia division of the North West region of Cameroon.
