Apart from “Murder”, What Kind of Punishment should the Amba Boys give to civilians identified as BLACK LEGS???

The past few weeks have been very bloody in the two restive English speaking regions of Cameroon following the gruesome murder of 4 civilians by alleged Amba boys.

As a reminder, a Cameroonian Humanitarian & Clergy man was killed in the North West region, a teacher in the North West region also suffered the same fate.

A few days ago, a pretty young lady known as “Treasure” was killed by suspected Amba boys who labelled her a blackleg.

2 days ago a gruesome video surfaced on the social media which shows a group of unidentified Amba boys in Muyuka beating and hacking a lady to death on the high way in broad day light.

This recent gruesome murder has sparked outrage worldwide and got many Anglophone Cameroonians wondering if the goal of the Amba boys is to protect civilians and secure independence for the good of the Southern Cameroonians.

The Southern Cameroonian political analyst say the Amba boys cannot claim that they are fighting to protect civilians and secure independence and at the same time killing the civilian whom they claim they are fighting for.

According the Amba boys who committed the heinous crimes, the 4 aforementioned victims, were murdered because they were black legs.

Based on our research, Amba boys have their own definition of the term “BLACK LEG” which is contrary to what is found in the English Dictionary.

The English Dictionary says a blackleg is a person who continues working when fellow workers are on strike OR a strike-breaker.

According to the Amba boys, the definition of the term Blackleg far exceeds that in the dictionary and encompasses informants, traitors,spies, enablers and non-indigenes of Southern Cameroon. Some Amba groups consider Southern Cameroonian ladies who are dating military men as blacklegs.

However many civilians have been killed under the banner of INFORMANTS i.e because they were revealing information about the hide outs of the Amba boys to the Cameroon military.

Every time a civilian is killed by Amba boys under the pretext that he or she was a black leg, many people are very quick to criticize and condemn the Amba boys without proposing or suggesting an alternative measure which the Amba boys can take against the blacklegs.

I will like to to make it clear that in every war zone, blacklegs are considered as soldiers and not civilians. In other words no General will ignore a blackleg in his or her territory.

For those of you who don’t know, information is the number 1 weapon of warfare. In other words information is far more effective than Atomic Bomb.

A legendary Chinese General called Sun Tzu mentioned in his best seller book (titled Art of War) that to win a war, all you need is 70% knowledge about your enemy and the remaining 30% is for weapons and strength.

The aforementioned utterance from the the great Chinese General insinuates that a black leg is extremely dangerous and aught to be removed from any territory by any wise General. This explains why the Kondengui Prison is full with Southern Cameroonians whom the Cameroon military suspects that they have connections with the Amba boys. The case of Samuel Wazizi is a glaring evidence that the military don’t also tolerate blacklegs (just like the Amba boys).

However unlike the Amba boys, the Cameroon security forces (who are more educated than the Amba boys and very cunning), don’t publish pictures and videos showing how they are arbitrarily executing people whom they consider as blacklegs.

However judging from the manner in which innocent civilians (including children) are massacred by the military (with the Ngarbuh massacre as glaring evidence), it is very clear that the manner in which blacklegs are treated by the military is equally gruesome.

Nevertheless, the objective of this post is not to condemn but to ask questions that will put an end to the killing of blacklegs by Amba boys in the two restive English speaking regions.

After the gruesome murder of the lady in Muyuka, i think the million dollar question which every sympathetic or empathetic person should ask is….HOW CAN THE AMBA BOYS TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE IDENTIFIED AS BLACKLEGS???? SHOULD THEY BE LOCKED UP SOMEWHERE TILL THE AMBAZONIA GAINS INDEPENDENCE??? SHOULD AMBA BOYS REQUEST FOR AN EXCHANGE OF THEIR CAPTIVES WITH THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS LOCKED UP IN KONDENGUI????

PUT SIMPLY IF THE AMBA BOYS CATCH A BLACK LEG WHO HAS PROVIDED INFORMATION WHICH HAS LED TO THE DEATH OF 40 AMBA BOYS, WHAT SHOULD
THEY DO TO SUCH A PERSON???

Mind you that Black legs are not allowed to go scott-free. One punishment or the other must be metted out on the Blackleg.

What action should be taken by Amba boys instead of murdering them.
