Today, Friday, 11th of September, 2020, a video has emerged on the social media which shows a young and dynamic Fako chief (with an AK47), bragging that he single-handedly raided an Ambazonia camp in his village and rescued a civilian kidnapped by Amba boys. He also mentioned that he confiscated a wig and locally made pistol belonging to the Amba General whose camp was raided.

In the video (which has gone viral on the social media) the young vibrant chief; identified as Chief Moja Moja (who also doubles as
a military personnel), flaunted the civilian whom he allegedly rescued from Amba boys and fired two gunshots in the air, taunting the Amba boys and calling them Mother F**kers.

I day for wuna bush, wuside wuna day, murder f**kers said Chief Moja Moja.

News about the raiding of an Amba camp by Chief Moja Moja, has caused many Cameroonians to ask the million dollar question, HAS THE HUNTER BECOME THE HUNTED???

It should be recalled that since the onset of the Ambazonia armed struggle, the Amba boys in Fako have been a thorn in the flesh of the Fako chiefs.

In July, 2018, 8 Fako chiefs were kidnapped by Amba boys and spent 2 weeks in Captivity. The abducted Fako chiefs were wrongly accused of burying 10 virgins to neutralize the diabolic powers of the Amba Boys hence they were kidnapped.

The 8 fako chiefs were kept in captivity for two weeks under precarious and life threatening conditions while being tortured by their captors.

One of the 8 Fako chiefs; Mbanda Williams Njie; the chief of Lysoka Moliwe died in captivity after being tortured by the Amba Boys. His lifeless body was deposited in the Buea Hospital Mortuary on the 26th of July, 2018.

The death of one of the 8 fako chiefs prompted the late mayor of Buea; Ekema Patrick Esunge to convene a Bakweri forum on the 29th of July, 2018 which paved the way for Ekema Patrick to stage a street protest on the 31st, July, 2018.

On the 31st of July, 2018, the sons and daughters of the Bakwerri clan headed by the fearless late Mayor marched from Bongo Square to the governors office carrying peace plants and placards which had well written labels like NO TO SECESSION, LEAVE SOUTH WEST ALONE !, NO TO VIOLENCE…

It should be recalled that late Mayor Ekema Patrick had earlier made it clear that the march pass will be peaceful but after 24 hours it will be violent (probably if the 7 abducted fako chiefs are not released).

Barely few hours after the peaceful match pass took place in Buea, the charismatic late mayor of Buea, published a communique to announce that the 7 abducted chiefs had been released “UNCONDITIONALLY”.

A day after the 7 Abducted Fako chiefs were released from captivity , they received an urgent invitation from Minister Atanga Nji Paul.

During the meeting with the minister of territorial administration, the Fako chiefs reaffirmed their support for a one and indivisible Cameroon.

The action taken by chief Moja Moja clearly insinuates that that the hunter will soon become the hunted. Should other Fako chiefs emulate the example of chief Moja Moja, the reign of the Amba boys will (no doubt) come to an end in Fako.

Our ears are still on the ground. We shall bring you more information as the story unfolds.
