A video footage which shows Red Dragons, destroying Cameroon military Armored cars in a bomb attack goes viral (VIDEO)
Many Cameroon security forces are believed to have died and many injured in a bomb attack and subsequent gun battle against a group of Armed separatist fighters in Lebialem under the leadership of Field Marshal.
The tragic incident (which happened on the 15th of August) was filmed by a Red Dragons fighter and published on the social media.
In the video footage (which has gone viral) a convoy of military vehicles and armored cars with soldiers on board, could be seen moving to an unknown location while the author of the video could be heard saying that very soon his targets will soon be destroyed.
Barely seconds after he made the above statement, a bomb goes off and Cameroon military officials could be heard screaming and running helter-skelter.
It seems like a remote control device was used to detonate the bomb as the authors of the video footage stood from a long distance comfortably filming and waiting for the military vehicles to arrive at the spot (where they had planted their explosive device) before the bomb exploded producing a terrific and deafening sound.
Just seconds after the bomb went off, a gun battle began and deafening gunshots could be heard while Cameroon security forces could be seen running helter-skelter.
Gun battle lasted for about 3 minutes.
Sources say military casualties is bound to be high as the bomb used in the attack is a deadly fragmentation bomb coupled with the fierce gun battle which ensued after the bomb attack.
According to experts, Fragmentation bombs are very deadly because the casing of Fragmentation bombs often splintered upon explosion and thrown in fragments in all directions thereby inflicting more damage on the target and as such, people who survived the primary explosion still stand a high risk of dying from the fragments projected by the explosive.
Experts also say, the gun battle which ensued after bomb attack was launched by the red dragons in order to give coup de grace to the injured soldiers.
As a reminder, Many Ambazonia restoration forces in ground have recently adopted bomb attacks as a means of weakening strong targets before engaging in gun battle.
