Even though nowadays there are hundreds of legitimate ways to make money online in Cameroon, the scammers in Cameroon are only bent on making money online the illegally way.

From the puppy sale scam (which is no longer effective), they have now come up with another effective scam labelled MOMOPAYS to target the desperate unemployed and less privileged people in Cameroon (especially the youths).

After conducting a thorough research on the Activity and mission of  Momopays; i can authoritatively report that MOMOPAYS is a SCAM.

Simply put, Momopays is a scamming website and the founder of MOMOPAYS;Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma is a desperate unscrupulous internet entrepreneur who is on a mission to steal 3000frs from every Cameroonian (especially the desperate unemployed anglophone Cameroonians). As his name suggest, the founder of MOMOPAYS is a Nigerian.

For those of you who don,t know, Nigerians are best known world wide for their dubious activities.

Intelligent Scammers (like the founder of MOMOPAYS; Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma) are able to thrive by consistently adapting and evolving their schemes to come up with new ways to con others out of their hard earned money.

In this article, i,m going to explain how the MOMOPAYS scam works and why you shouldn’t sign up on the MOMOPAYS website or join the hundreds of gullible desperate unemployed Cameroonians who have already been scammed by the MOMOPAYS ponzi scheme.

How does Momopays work (How they intend to Scam you).

Take note ! “Any brick-and-mortar or online business (startup) which isn,t selling a well defined product or rendering a well defined service, is a Ponzi scheme”.

According to the CEO of Momopays; Momopays is a network marketing website where members build “financial literacy” and make money in Cameroon.

The above mission statement didn’t clearly spell out the type of service or product which is being sold or rendered on the MOMOPAYS website…which therefore qualifies the MOMOPAYS online business to be categorized as a ponzi scheme.

For those of you who don,t know, a Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud in which a scammer (fraudster) makes money (online or offline) by encouraging (incentivizing) people to invest in a business or to indirectly purchase a product which doesn’t add any value to their life (in most cases).

MOMOPAYS fits the above description..

The authors of a ponzi scheme often utilize very aggressive marketing techniques to stimulate their scam victims to encourage (invite) their relatives and friends to also invest or sign up to their service for them to earn a level 1 and level 2 commission. This explains why CEO of MOMOPAYS has described the MOMOPAYS Website as a network marketing website.

By incentivizing their Scam victims to bring in (invite) more potential victims (“mugu”) in the hope of earning commissions from their referral, the authors of a Ponzi Scheme can succeed in scamming a population as large as that of Southern Cameroon (AKA Ambazonia)… as each victim struggles to build a large network of customers (mugus) and earn a large commission.

This is how the MOMOpays Scam works

According to the MOMOPAYS agents, for  a person (a Cameroonian “mugu”) to join to the MOMOpays network and start making money online in Cameroon, first! the person will need to sign up (register) on the MOMOpays website to become a member.

Their targets are Cameroonians (of all walks of life) who have an MTN OR Orange mobile money account.

After a potential victim (mugu) has registered on the MOMOpays website (momopays.com), he or she will be asked to buy an eBook titled “How to spend money and stay rich”.

The eBook cost 3000 frs and payment is done through MTN Mobile money or Orange mobile money.

After a victim (mugu or mumu) has bought the eBook from the MOMOpays scammers, he or she will be given a unique referral link which he or she can use to refer (lure) other potential victims (mugus) to the MOMOpays website and earn a commission if they also register on the MOMOpays website and buy the 3000 frs  eBook titled “How to spend money and stay rich”.

Lets take for example that you have signed up on the MOMOpays website and bought the 3000frs Ebook and the unique referral link below was given to you…

momopays.com/register?ref=mugu1

If somebody clicks on your unique referral link (momopays.com/register?ref=mugu1), goes to the MOMOpays website, register and also buys the 3000frs Ebook, you will receive 1000 frs “instantly” as your reward (commission) from MOMOpays for referring that victim (mugu) to their website.

The “mugu” you referred to the MOMOpays website will also be given a unique referral link which he or she can use to refer (invite) other mugus to join the MOMOpays network and also earn a commission (1000frs per a person).

This is how his or her own referral link may look like momopays.com/register?ref=mugu2 (you are the first mugu i.e. mugu1 and the person you just referred is the second mugu i.e. mugu2)

When a person you have already referred i.e. mugu 2, refers another person (mugu3) to the MOMOpays website who also ends up registering and buying the 3000frs eBook via his or her own referral link momopays.com/register?ref=mugu2, you will also earn 500frs because you are the person who referred Mugu2 to the MOMOpays website and Mugu 2 will earn 1000frs for referring Mugu 3.

Simply put, Each member who register and buy the e-book via your referral link, you will receive 1000 Fcfa instantly, and when the person you have already referred, refers another person, you earn an additional 500 Fcfa.

So that is how the MOMOpays scam works. The higher the number of mugus you refer to the MOMOpays website, the greater the amount of money you get paid weekly by the CEO of MOMOpays.

As each victim (mugu) struggles to build a large network of customers (mugus) and earn a large commission, the CEO of MOMOpays; Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma can succeed in scamming millions of Cameroonians effortless (without laboring).

Based on the aforementioned indisputable evidences, MOMOpays can be decribed as a VAMPIRE NETWORK owing to the fact that the victims of the ponzi scheme are converted to scammers against their wish and they start scamming others in order to thrive (without them even knowing that they are scammers i.e. ignorantly).

If you have ever watched a vampire movie before, then you will perfectly understand what i,m talking about. When a vampire bites  a human, he or she (the victim) automatically becomes a vampire too and start looking for other humans to suck their blood and also convert them in to vampires… by so doing, the Vampires can convert everybody in a country in to Vampires. This analogy perfectly explains what MOMOpays is all about and how MOMOpays works.

Why you wont, make a reasonable amount of Money online in Cameroon with MOMOpays (even if MOMOpays was a legit business).
  • MOMOpays has now become a rat-race i.e. there are already hundreds of hungry unemployed Cameroonians trying to make money online in Cameroon through this Ponzi scheme. Owing to the above fact it will very hard for an average internet user with little or no internet marketing skill to succeed. I know you must have read one of the promotional materials of the MOMOpays agents on Facebook, WhatApp and Twitter… and its clearly stated in their promotional materials that MOMOpays is the easiest way to make money online in Cameroon and that you can earn 4000frs to 20,000frs per day via MOMOpays and get paid every Friday via your MTN OR Orange Mobile money account. Some smart MOMOpays scammers go as far as publishing purported screenshots of payment receipts which shows huge amount of money they have made from MOMOpays in order to entice and convince the gullible Cameroonians to believe that the MOMOpays network business is legit and not a “SCAM”.  I wish to make it very clear that you won,t make the amount of money stated in the promotional materials of the MOMOpays scammers. That can never be possible in a country where people are very willing to spend money on beer and wine than investing in a business.
  • Secondly, the greedy MOMOpays kingpin;Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma is best known for double-crossing his MOMOpays affiliates in order to avoid paying their commission. So many MOMOpays affiliates have complain to me that they have referred so many mugus to the MOMOpays website who end up registering and buying the 3000frs eBook but they didn’t receive any commission (s) for the referrals. This is because the MOMOpays website has a “LIVE” chatbox which is used by the unscrupulous MOMOpays.com webmaster to persuade people to register via the SIGN UP button found on the MOMOpays website and not via the referral links provided by MOMOpays. For example if somebody clicks on your unique affiliate link and lands on the MOMOpays registration (sponsored) page, the LIVE chat box will automatically pops up on the MOMOpays website asking the referred customer if he/she needs help. If the referred customer replies to the message, he or she will be persuaded to click on the sign up button to register…by so doing, the MOMOpays  affiliate who referred the member will not earn a commission. MONKEY DI WORK BABOON DI CHOP.

So many smart MOMOpays affiliates have contacted the founder of  MOMOpays; Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma to ask him to remove the Sign Up button from the MOMOpays website, but he has refused.

  • The MOMOpays website claim to have more than 5000 registered affiliates but only 5 of their affiliates often manage to refer 30 customers per month (under hard struggle). 30 referrals equals to 30,000 commission. Let me assume that the 30 referrals also referred a customer each…500frs X 30 equals to 15000. So 45000 is the amount which is made by top MOMOpays scammers per month under hard struggle.  You can go to their website and view their top referrals for the month of August, 2018 to confirm. If the MOMOpays marketing experts (kingpins) are struggling to refer 30 people per month then what’s more of you without any marketing skill but just a zeal to make money online in Cameroon. It should be noted that many of the MOMOpays affiliates are struggling to refer just 3 customers to recover their 3000frs from MOMOpays and then quit… but the rat-race has made it impossible. PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THE RAT RACE.
  •   Another good reason why you shouldn’t join the MOMOpays business is that the future of the business is uncertain. The authors of a ponzi scheme can disappear at any time living investors stranded. Like i mentioned earlier. the CEO of MOMOpays;Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma is a Nigerian. It is also important to ask yourself that what will be the fate of this business after every Cameroonian has bought the eBook???.
  • Lastly the MOMOpays business registration number TPPRR/RC/LBE/2018/B/052  seems too good to be true.

Every true Cameroonian already knows that Biya’s government is extremely corrupt and as such anybody can obtain a legal document for a fraudulent business by offering bribe. As a news blogger, i have carried out so many research on fraud cases and come to understand that academic certificates can be obtained via bribe in Cameroon, foreigners can get an ID card via bribe, Birth certificates can be obtained via bribe, driving licences and business licences can be obtained via bribe etc… in short with bribe everything is possible in Cameroon. So i won,t be surprise if the business registration number displayed on the MOMOpays website is genuine. The French Cameroonians often say that we cannot “break the law in Cameroon” but we can “bend it” by offering bribe.

The ulterior motive of MOMOpays

The main objective of the MOMOpays CEO;Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma is to sell his eBook titled “How to spend money and stay rich” and not to help Cameroonians to build “financial literacy” and make money online in Cameroon as stated in the mission statement. He is using an aggressive marketing technique (the MOMOpays ponzi scheme) to indirectly market and sell his eBook i.e. by promising the poverty striken Cameroonians that they will make lots of money online after registering on their website and buying his eBook worth 3000frs.

It should be noted that the eBook is compusory i.e. if you don,t buy the eBook you won,t be given a referral link.

Majority of the Cameroonians who have bought the eBook, did so not because they value the content of the eBook but because they just wish to get their referral link and start scamming other Cameroonians like Franklin Chibuzo Ejenma.

A few days ago, i asked one of MOMOpays kingpins if he had read the eBook and he told me that the primary reason why he bought the eBook is because it is a prerequisite for obtaining a referral link which is used to refer other mugus.

If the founder of MOMOpays desperately wants to sell his 3000frs eBook, he should create a Sales Page for the eBook with a clear blurb description and ask the Cameroon affiliate marketers to help him sell his eBook and receive 40% commission OR he can publish his book on the Amazon Kindle store, smashword, Clickbank and other self publishing websites.

Its not right to trick people to buy an eBook by promising them that they will make money online after buying the eBook. Give people a clear reason why they need to buy your eBook and they will buy it.

I REST MY CASE !!!
