Limbe FESTAC Attack–Amba boys launched a surprise attack at the Limbe FESTAC site…X-Maleya narrowly escaped death (Video)
Just like many Southern Cameroonians always say, NA LAST TIME BE TIME!.
The Limbe FESTAC event (which started successful on Saturday the 6th of April, 2019 with thousands of people showing up at the ceremonial ground), will “probably” end today Saturday, in very shameful way.
What happened???
Despite tight security put in place by the Limbe FESTAC boss; Mutanga Andrew, to ensure the smooth running of the 2019 Limbe FESTAC event, yesterday, Friday, the 12th of April, 2019…at about 8:30pm; a group of Amba boys launched a surprise attack at the Limbe FESTAC ceremonial ground, causing people to run for their dear lives.
The fearless Amba boys launched an attack barely few meters away from the Limbe Community field; where the Limbe FESTAC is hosted. Gun battle between Amba boys and laripoblic terrorists lasted for more than 10 minutes.
The Laripoblic music group; X-Maleya; which was performing at the time of the attack, ran away from the stage. Even the musicians…playing LIVE instruments also ran away.
That is how the 6th day of the Limbe Festival of arts and culture, came to an end.
As a reminder, the 2019 Limbe FESTAC event will end today, Saturday, the 13th 2019.
After the attack launched by the Amba boys, many residents of Limbe have vowed not show up at the FESTAC ceremonial ground today; which is suppose to be the climax of FESTAC event.
The last (7th) day of FESTAC is always full of interesting activities and the most trending hit songs are performed on the last day.
However many residents of Limbe have stated that the reward far outweighs the risk.
